One female prison officer became pregnant during a relationship with an inmate

A host of female prison officers have been caught having illicit affairs with the men in their charge. This includes one woman who cut a hole in her trousers for moments of passion with her criminal beau.

Another became pregnant during her affair and went on to give birth to a baby girl. And this week, Shania Begum was jailed for 16 months after her affair with a prisoner at HMP Birmingham came to light.

She was caught out by a covert camera which filmed her with inmate Joshua Mullings. We have taken a look at her case alongside other female prison officers who have been caught falling for criminals behind bars.
